"Faith is the best wealth for a man in this world. Righteousness when well practised brings happiness. Truth is the sweetest of flavours. They say the life of one living by wisdom is the best."

  • ′′Vanities of the world are transient...′′
                  - SWAMI VIVEKANANDA

Even in the lowest kinds of attraction there is the germ of divine love. One of the names of the Lord in Sanskrit is 'Hari', and this means that 'He attracts all things to Himself.' ...To love because it is the nature of love to love is undeniably the highest and the most unselfish of love that may be seen in the world.

             - SWAMI VIVEKANANDA

Mundus Alter et Idem (Another World and Yet the Same) is a satirical dystopian novel written by the English writer and bishop Joseph Hall around 1605. In the novel, the narrator takes a voyage in the ship Fantasia through the southern seas, visiting the lands of Crapulia, Viraginia, Moronia, and Lavernia (populated by gluttons, nags, fools, and thieves, respectively). These locations feature on this map, which accompanies the novel.Map credit: Joseph Hall
           *Rungs of Love
At first one loves only when one is loved.
Next, one loves spontaneously, but one wants to be loved in return.
Then one loves even if one is not loved, but one still wants one's love to be accepted.
And finally one loves purely and simply, without any other need or joy than that of loving.
 -
Mirra Alfassa
  • To wish for perfection for the loved one, and to feel pure joy in thinking of that soul, is divine love; and that is the love of true friendship.
                                      -
Paramhansa Yogananda
  • We are prone by habit to look at things only in combination of what others have observed. The most insignificant thing has a little unknown element in it. We must find it.
                                                           ~
