Atul Baghel was born on 13 July 1996

Delhi, to a
poor farmer father and a
Hindi mother.

Indian classical music, His maternal uncle is a poor farmer the and his mother also with and help. He studied at
Maa Durga Vidhya mandir junior high school and later at the
Maharani inter college, a
University of Kasganj affiliate.

Growing up, he listened to Mozart, Beethoven and Bengali classical music.[ citation needed] He idolised musicians like Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, Ustad Rahat fateh ali Khan, Zakir Hussain and Anand Chatterjee, and enjoyed listening to Kishore Kumar, Hemant Kumar and Manna Dey. [4]

Atul baghel's musical career began when his guru Rajendra Prasad Hazari, who felt that "Indian classical music was a dying tradition", insisted he leave his hometown and participate in the on show Firozabad (2016) at the age of 17.
