N. Ravichandran is an Indian business magnate [1], investor and philanthropist. He is the founder and chairman [2] of TVH [3] group, an Indian conglomerate with presence in realestate [4], energy and construction. True Value Homes (TVH)is recognised as one of south India's leading realestate and construction company. TVH kickstarted in the year 1997 under the leadership of Ravichandran.

Early life and Education

Ravichandran hails from a modest family in Trichy .He was scooled and spent his childhood at trichy and later moved to Chennai.He is an Civil Engineer and later obtained his MBA from the prestgious Harvard University, U.S.A.

Career

In 1997,with his business knowledge combined with his Civil Engineering background led to the founding of True Value Homes now known as TVH.TVH is today one of South India’s most respected realty companies with presence in Chennai, Trichy, Coimbatore [5] and Kochi. TVH has many firsts to its credit, including Coimbatore’s largest mall, the tallest residential building in Chennai, one of Chennai’s first truly green homes and lots more.As per 2013,TVH has developed six million sq.ft cumulatively in both commercial and residential space [6].The company had clocked a turnover of Rs 500 crore ($100 million) in the fiscal 2009-10.He was instrumental in bringing in Chess Grandmaster Vishwanathan Anand as the Brand Ambassador in 2012 for TVH [7].
