Nephila pakistaniensis is a species of Golden silk orb-weaver discovered in 2002 by Aram Ghafoor and Mirza Azher Beg.

Etymology

The spider's name is a reference to its place of discovery. The species name pakistaniensis is derived from pakistani, as the species was discovered in Pakistan, and -ensis, which is a Latin suffix meaning "living in".
