    CONCACAF Champions League
    Selection Procedure
    • Four US-based teams qualify for the 2019 CONCACAF Champions League. Due to a change in format to the tournament, two qualifiers will come from each of the 2017 and 2018 MLS seasons. [2] This combined qualification method will be used for the 2019 tournament only. For the 2017 season, the following teams will qualify:
      1. The winner of MLS Cup 2017; this berth will be reallocated to the best US team in aggregate points in both 2017 and 2018 MLS seasons as Toronto FC won the Cup.
      2. The winner of the 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup (Sporting Kansas City).
Thus unlike previous seasons, the Supporters' Shield winner and the regular season conference champion that did not win the Supporters Shield are not guaranteed a berth. Each qualifier enters at the second phase of the tournament.
One Canada-based team qualifies for the 2018 CONCACAF Champions League, also entering at the second phase (NOTE: Canadian teams cannot qualify through MLS):
      1. The winner of both the 2016 and 2017 Canadian Championship (Toronto FC)

One Canada-based team qualifies for the Champions League (NOTE: Canadian teams cannot qualify through MLS):
      1. The winner of the 2017 Canadian Championship
They are placed in Phase 2, along with the three Caribbean qualifiers, the two qualifiers from El Salvador, and one qualifier each from Belize and Nicaragua.

Chris Glodack (born 19 June 1993) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the North American Soccer League.

Career

College and Youth

Glodack was born in Mount Holly, New Jersey, though his family moved to Carolina Forest, South Carolina where he played from 2010 to 2011 for the Carolina Forest Panthers. He then attended Clemson University and played goalie for the Tigers. [3]

As a freshman in 2012, Glodack backed up former Rowdie Cody Mizell. Glodack came in for the injured Mizell for the penalty shootout against Boston College in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament. He made two saves en route to a 3-1 victory for the Tigers.

Tampa Bay Rowdies

On 23 February 2015 it was announced that Glodack had signed his first professional contract with the Tampa Bay Rowdies of the North American Soccer League. [4] Glodack impressed Rowdies staff during an invite-only combine from January 30 to February 1 and joined initially as a preseason trialist. He made his debut with the Rowdies in a 0-4 preseason loss to Swedish Allsvenskan champions Malmö FF.
