My name is Gero Scholz and I am a German IT professional.

I have been developing a wiki-like system (GREP = Generic REPpository) for some time and maybe I will find some time to integrate the best ideas of that system into Mediawiki.

The main difference between GREP and Mediawiki is a strong typing concept which makes the definition of semantic relations easier (RDF, semantic web,etc.).

My first contribution is a suggestion for a small extension to DynamicPageList2 which allows to dynamically list pages that belong to a certain category AND link to a given article. Thus you can now create a list of poets who have a relationship to a given city, say Dublin. You would have to look for articles which link to Dublin AND belong to a category like poet. See also my discussion page.

Regarding my general interest in algorithms, please see my German Wikipedia User Page.
