I started to edit Wikipedia in 2004 and quickly became addicted. During 2005 I edited regularly, spending a lot of time here working hard on various topics, a lot of them are related to politics, society, culture and language, often with a Swedish connection. After little more than a year, I found the intense editing and community interaction clashed with other priorities in my life, and decided to spend less time here. As it turned out, it became more or less a clean break, and however much I enjoyed being a Wikipedian, I would say that was probably the only way to go for me at the time.
Currently, I have no plans to spend as much time here as I once did, but - perhaps optimistically - I believe I can resume editing on a more limited scale. This means I'll try to check in regularly - but far from every day - and concentrate my editing on the areas which I know best, in particular Swedish society and politics. I'll also try to keep an eye on my former favourite hangout, the
Swedish Wikipedians' notice board.
