BRIEF BIO

AGUME MARK (born 9 October 1999) is a Ugandan actorknown for his roles in various short films and television series. He began his career with extra and background roles and later gained recognition for his performances in short films such as ''The Last Shoemaker,'' which won the Best Short Film awardat the Uganda Film Festival in 2024, and the action crime drama short ''Boundary Mwisho.'' Mark is also credited for his roles in the notable MultiChoice television series '' Sanyu'' and the hit feature film ''Ssekukkulu.''

EARLY LIFE

AGUME  is a brother to Ashaaba Aheebwa Martha and a son to ASIIMIRE  DINAH and TUMWINE MICHEAL.He Attended Kisubi Mapeera secondary school and proceeded to do a certificate in acting , voice and movement at Yenze Theatre Conservatoire [1] . Mark persuaded a certificate in Film production master class in Lagos, Nigeria curated by Nigerian producer Chris odeh [2], He has previously featured in M-Net originals include  At the crossroads, Wizards of Kampala [3] . He has Appeared on Theatre stages for  a musical play production “ My FAIR LADY UGANDA [4] [5]” where he acts as Zoltan Karpathy and George, the Bartender .

Mark competed in the pan African   Challenge  known as “Africa Monologue Challenge [6]” 2024 and emerged out as the only Uganda’s finalist.

EDUCATION BACKGROUND

Attended Kisubi Mapeera secondary school and proceeded to do a certificate in acting , voice and movement at Yenze Theatre Conservatoire [1] . Mark persuaded a certificate in Film production master class in Lagos, Nigeria curated by Nigerian producer Chris odeh [2].
