My name is Afifa Afrin. I have completed my post-graduation from University of Dhaka major in Women and Gender Studies. Currently I am working for an INGO- Swisscontact. I am familiar with Wikipedia since 2008 for educational purpose; however I became active in February 2014. I am contributing in Bengali & English Wikipedia and Wikimedia commons. Other than my online contributions to the movement, I am also active in Wikimedia offline activities. I have participated several workshops and encouraged women to join and contribute in Wikipedia. I also actively work for Wikimedia Bangladesh and am serving as community director- special focus gender gap since 2016. Hi! This is Afifa. I am from Bangladesh.
