Agnes Morrison Cadell (9 April 1873 - 10 February 1958) was a Scottish painter. [1]

Life

Her father was George Robert Cadell (20 May 1844 - 2 July 1909), from the Cape of Good Hope in Africa. He settled in Edinburgh in the 1870s.

Her mother was Mary Amelia Morrison McCrae (1844 - 30 December 1924), from Sydney, Australia. George and Mary married in Clerkenwell, Middlesex, England on 10 July 1871.

Agnes Morrison Cadell was born in Downton, Salisbury on 9 April 1873. She was brought up in Edinburgh.

Her sister Florence St John Cadell was also an artist. [2]

She died on 10 February 1958 in a nursing home in Edinburgh. [3]
