perisphinctid ammonoid
Indosphinctes comptoni. The shell dates back to the
Callovian
age (163.5–166.1million years ago) of the
Middle Jurassic
epoch and is about 13.5 cm in diameter. It was collected near
Blumberg,
Germany.
