Internationally renowned producer, DJ, and designer of Milkcrate Records and Milkcrate clothing, Aaron LaCrate was born and bred on the streets of East Baltimore. Baltimore is the inspirational core of many of his creative endeavors; producing music, and most of all his Milkcrate clothing collection.

At the age of 10, a young skateboard punk, LaCrate began experimenting with DIY culture. LaCrate began DJ’ing at Baltimore nightclubs, house parties, writing graffiti and even started making custom t-shirts. His first music studio was in his basement where he created mix-tapes and t-shirts sold throughout inner city Baltimore. LaCrate was the youngest working DJ in Baltimore prior to attending Syracuse University, where he took over the campus music scene. He spent his summers in NYC interning for Def Jam, Payday and Rocafella helping with the launch of Jay-Z’s classic Reasonable Doubt.

As a part of LaCrate’s musical repertoire, he has produced and remixed Madonna, Souljah Boy, Young MC, Lily Allen and Cool Kids. The excitement of LaCrate's B-more Gutter music reached Marc Jacobs ear who then used three of Aaron's tracks for his fashion show. He has rocked the turntables touring alongside friends Lily Allen, Mark Ronson, Dizzee Rascal, Rakim, and most recently Kanye West for Perez Hiltons SXSW event. Aaron has developed exclusive special-edition fashion collaborations with Vans, Colette, Jay Z and cashmere king Lucien Pellat-Finet. As well as collaborating with Coca Cola, HBO, Delicious Vinyl, Dazed Confused and Ferrari. Aaron LaCrate is the last great American underground brand.

Currently, LaCrate has released the first B-more major label record in history, entitled "B-more Club Crack", which features local Baltimore gutter artists; Mz Streamz, Verb and international collaborations with Jamaica's Mr. Vegas and London's Eliza Doolittle. As LaCrate would say "A few other firsts" – being his foresight that leads him to develop fantastic energizing products into the marketplace.

LaCrate is consistently original and has grown into a trendsetting talented entrepreneur always raising the bar. He has garnered worldwide recognition for his trademark sound, as well as his cultural influence on music and fashion where his projects often masterfully blend into one another.
