I am an Afro-Brazilian feminist who decided to beat the odds and joined the Wikimedia Movement. I have been around since 2012 mostly due to my former gig as the Director of Partnerships at the Wikimedia Foundation.
Currently, I contribute with the movement by dismantling the structures of power and privilege that make people like me (especially women and LGBTQI) invisible and silenced here. In order to do so, I am a Co-Director at Whose Knowledge?, a global multi-language campaign to center the knowledge of marginalized communities (in fact, the majority of the world) on the internet.
