Beverly is a fictional character on the CBS Network Soap Opera, The Bold and the Beautiful, and first aired on November 30, 2011. She is portrayed on a recurring status by Gina Rodriguez. [1] [2] She is Dayzee Leigh's friend from the shelter. [3]
Casting
Her casting was announced on October 19, 2011. [1] Beverly is not a guest role, but Gina Rodriguez has signed on as a recurring character for the serial. [1] She began taping for the role on October 18, 2011. Gina Rodriguez has credits for Army Wives as Marisol Evens and ABC's Happy Endings. [1] [2]
Storyline
Beverly was hired as an Intern for Forrester Creations, a highly well known Fashion House in Beverly Hills. She is a friend of Dayzee Leigh (Kristolyn Lloyd), a friend from the shelter. She is seen taking photos of their top-secret designs by Hope Logan ( Kimberly Matula). Once Jackie M, another Fashion House have stolen their designs and passed it off as their own, Stephanie Forrester ( Susan Flannery) and the rest of the Forresters assume that she was hired by Jackie to steal the designs. Beverly insisted that she did this for her personal admiration of the designs, however they don't believe her. In reality, Stephanie's sister, Pamela Douglas ( Alley Mills) was the one who stole the designs in order to obtain affection from Nick Marone ( Jack Wagner).
Beverly runs off and Dayzee is very sympathetic with her. Once the truth is revealed, Stephanie and Hope are determined to apologize to Beverly, however Beverly is extremely hurt and rejects their guilty apologetic gestures. With much argument and persuasion, Beverly opens up to Stephanie and she goes back to Forrester Creations. She begins to flirt with Rick Forrester ( Jacob Young), and explains her childhood and why her mother named her Beverly (naming her after Beverly Hills, a place where nothing bad seems to occur), and they flirt. However, his ex wife Amber Moore ( Adrienne Frantz) is extremely jealous and wants Rick back.
