hyperlink just the first instance of a "hot" word. In a long article, if the other article had not been mentioned for a while, hyperlinking it again would be ok, just to be helpful to readers.
Don't worry about making mistakes, we all learnt that way (apart from the really REALLY keen people who studied the
Wikipedia:Manual of style first). So if someone reverts your edit with a link that begins MOS:
, they are referring to the relevant verse of our
style guide.
