Your IP address is one of three ( 156.34.142.110, 142.166.250.98, 156.34.211.193) that have recently being involved in an edit war with User:Navnløs regarding formatting in music articles. Because all three of these IP address come from the same location (St. John, New Brunswick) and because at least one of them has had contact with other edits involved in this long-running dispute - I believe that all of the IPs are being used by a single individual or by a number of individuals engaged in coordinated edit warring. I have therefore blocked all three IPs for 24 hours. You can find more information here. If you feel that this block is unwarranted, you may appeal it by following the process outlined here. He's out for the weekend thankfully. Hmm... interesting situation though. Kameejl's code is coming along nicely. As I write this I am having another admin look into it. Surprise, surprise... the script only changes "," to "<br />" and not visa versa. I've been advised just to watch carefully... these are interesting times we live in. I have completed the work in my sandbox, and I have introduced the new format in the list. Its not all done, most non-us bands don't have a description. And I got to put pics in too, maybe even include some description about the major scenes...I would like to know the FA procedure too :D! Welt anschaunng 14:50, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
On that point, would it be wise to put information about the major local scenes of thrash in the list, or does that info belong to the main article? Welt anschaunng 09:29, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
You got so many IPs that I don't know where is your talk page :). Well I'll send you their dico through RapidShare or MegaUpload, just tell me if that's OK with you. They have released 5 albums and there's another one coming net month, their first 3 albums are (in my opinion) masterpieces, the other two are just good, they said that the new one promises to be totally different and their best. Also they sing in Spanish, and I was wndering why would you like to have their disco, but anyways I'll send it to you, please answer back, so that I know you read this message. I think the BBC don't even know what they're talking about. Compare this article where they claim he's proudly Iranian, to this one where they say he's Azerbaijani (!), and here they call him "Indian Parsi"....
I have watched the documentaries A Kind of Magic and Freddie Mercury: The Untold Story and neither of them implied he was anything but Indian Parsi. The latter, I believe, mentioned that the name Bulsara comes from the city of Bulsar in Gujarat.
The best way to handle it, in my opinion, is to go on saying he's Indian Parsi heritage. That seems to have the most support from external sources, including the ones in the documentaries, who happen to be his family and closest associates. I don't believe I made personal attacks. The Mammy I refered to was Phil Lynott's. The user in question WAS making personal and pejorative comments eg "fanboy". I was making the legitimate point that the Thin Lizzy page is a terrible. It has no editorial balance and is weighted towards a not very important or notable line up that trades on the 1970s and 1980s history and songs but without the key songwriters Lynott and Downey. A review of the editors work indicates that he/she is a serial reverter. I imagine his/Her agressive and pejorative approach and editing history could bear some examination. Thanks . You are obviously a maggot aka slipknot fan, please stop attempting to label slipknot a heavy metal band, you should not be reverting my edits when they are clearly justified. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Melkortheevil ( talk • contribs) 01:52, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
I don't need to improve my search ranking. I provided a link to something that is not available on wikipedia; A complete list of all Queen and solo songs. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Queenarchives ( talk • contribs) 16:43, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
First, AMG is a reliable source. Hell, it's featured in some of Wikipedia's own templates. Your argument there is moot.
Second, I checked the talk page, and there is no consensus as to the genre. There isn't even a discussion, so don't even try to sling that crap around.
It looks to me that you're trying to press your personal opinion and hide it by citing policies that don't even apply to the situation.
I have the citation. You don't. Get over it.

Thanx for you warning man. What we see is that I'm not blocked yet and we'll see wether I'd be or not.And we both know no one will be blocked for a wrong sourcing.Besides doing an edit war without discussing on the talk page is what you did and that's against wikipedia rules as I had talked on the talk page in ages and no one had stated a disagreement in the talk page.An ways,You could easily talk it on the talk page at first place and I would accept your explanaition.Goodluck warrior.Keep your feet on the ground. The restoration to saying Brian Jones was fired, are very much against consensus. See Stones talk page for detailed discussion of the matter. Also, not specifying what "false information" was included is unhelpful making guesswork of what exactly what is at issue. Finally, I suspect Sssoul thinks that I am the one reverting the "fired" position. This is partly his fault since he has apparently not looked carefully at the edit history, and has apparently not read my comments while I strongly think he was fired, I make clear that I agree with the consensus and have no wish to have the "fired" copy remain. It is also partly the fault of yourself, presumably, who has still not noted your reverts with explanation and suggestions adequately. Mr Anonymous
Thanks for pointing out the good faith of the editor you referenced in your message. Unsourced, poorly constructed edits that blank text and are executed without summary have every appearance of vandalism. I hope you understand why I used the rollback instead of contacting the user personally (which my contribs will show that I have recently started doing). Since you have been to my talk page you will also have seen that I try to guide editors to help whenever I'm contacted. I'll be glad to leave a message of apology on the user's talk in hopes that they will feel more welcomed (which would be my aim for every editor). Please do not hesitate to message me in future with suggestions, help, advice etc. Tide rolls 19:56, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
