I'm 12thManSeaFan and I'm a sophomore participating in the Global youth studies course this semester. I am a Politics and Public Relations major at the moment and am planning to run political campaigns during and after my college career.

I am very interested in how people see the world and hold perceptions of people and ideas. Image is also an interest of mine. I've found pages such as Ephebiphobia, Youth politics, Youth culture, and Youth-led media very interesting. In this article I hope to expand on the theories section and hopefully add some theories from people from the Global South. I also hope to get opinions of psychologists, sociologists, historians and the like. I also intend to update the trends of youth and their actions. This article also seems to set comment on certain youth subcultures but I think being more general would be better to be more general, especially when describing the trends of youth. I also hope to expand on the history of youth culture, such as how the inventions of cars changed youth lives and the same for planes and the internet with social media.
