Tony Edeh (born May 27, 1977) is a Nigerian business executive known for his role as the group managing director and chief executive officer of Norrenberger Group, a financial institution based in Nigeria. [1] He also served as the executive director and chief investment officer (CIO) of New Frontiers Developments before his current position.

Career

Edeh currently holds the position of group managing director and CEO at the Norrenberger Group. [2] Before joining Norrenberger, he served as the executive director and chief investment officer (CIO) at New Frontiers Developments, a venture capital investment firm with a focus on SMEs [ citation needed] Edeh was responsible for originating and executing several significant investments and private equity deals that gained international recognition.[ citation needed] He has also been involved in various transactions in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Power, Agriculture, Real Estate, Hospitality, Healthcare, Technology, Financial Services, and Impact Investing. Tony initiated his career at the audit firm KPMG Professional Services (formerly Arthur Andersen), where he gained experience in Credit Risk and Economic Capital Modelling.[ citation needed]

His diverse background, coupled with international experiences in Europe, Southeast Asia, and North America, has shaped his strong convictions about concepts like equity, inequality, capitalism, and imperialism. [ citation needed] After completing his MBA at INSEAD, Edeh joined ASO Savings and Loans Plc, one of Nigeria's Mortgage Banks, where he assumed key roles in financial risk management, including chief risk officer and group head of enterprise risk management.[ citation needed]

Awards and honours

In 2014, he was nominated as one of six Nigerians for the Desmond Tutu Fellowship Programme. [3] In 2009, he coached MN Enterprises to win the Cartier Women's Initiative Awards. [4] [5]

Personal life

Tony Edeh was also nominated to serve as the chairman of the Eha-Amufu and Fulani Communities Peace and Reconciliation Committee to negotiate during the Herder-Farmer conflicts in 2022. [6] [7] [8]
