Template-protected edit request on 5 February 2019

I think the "transcluded" wikilink in the template should link to Wikipedia:Transclusion instead of the more general Transclusion, because the former is more directly relevant.

The link was to Wikipedia:Transclusion originally, but was changed by an anonymous editor in 2014, with no explanation. Alanhuang122 ( talk) 23:49, 5 February 2019 (UTC) reply

Please change template call {{ YesNo-No}} to {{ Yesno-no}} to eliminate the unnecessary redirect. Colonies Chris ( talk) 15:12, 31 October 2019 (UTC) reply

Error with relative subpages

This template does not handle relative subpages (starting with a slash). The link to /Subpage will work, but edit and history links will not. You can try {{ Transcluded section|/Subpage}} . MarioGom ( talk) 07:40, 5 July 2021 (UTC) reply

Implemented a fix at Special:Diff/1034605464. It uses a template I created to resolve relative subpage titles in a namespace-aware way, {{ Absolute page title}}. This utility template should be protected if this change is implemented. MarioGom ( talk) 21:25, 20 July 2021 (UTC) reply

Using {{!}} breaks the edit and history buttons. I tried using the template with the code

{{transcluded section|List of Pokémon: Black & White episodes{{!}}List of ''Pokémon: Black & White'' episodes}}

but the edit and history buttons become broken and replaced with

([{{fullurl: List of Pokémon: Black & White episodes|List of Pokémon: Black & White episodes|action=edit}} edit] | [{{fullurl: List of Pokémon: Black & White episodes|List of Pokémon: Black & White episodes|action=history}} history])

Can this problem be fixed, please? Thanks. FunnyMath ( talk) 10:02, 6 October 2022 (UTC) reply

@ FunnyMath I am not sure what you are trying to do but to use the template all you need to do is: {{ Transcluded section|List of Pokémon: Black & White episodes}} Terasail [✉️] 17:09, 6 October 2022 (UTC) reply
@ Terasail: I'm trying to unitalicize the words "Pokémon: Black & White" FunnyMath ( talk) 18:39, 6 October 2022 (UTC) reply
By default, the template would look like this:
This section is transcluded from List of Pokémon: Black & White episodes. (edit | history)

@ FunnyMath There isn't a way to remove italics when they have been added the reason they are used here is because it is a Hatnote rather than content for the article. See Wikipedia:Hatnote#Format for more on the format and other information regarding hatnotes. Terasail [✉️] 19:06, 6 October 2022 (UTC) reply
@ Terasail: But I was able to remove the italics in other hatnote templates like Template:Main and Template:About, and other editors regularly do this. FunnyMath ( talk) 19:10, 6 October 2022 (UTC) reply
Yes well I meant for this specific template there is no way to remove the italics becuase of the edit & history buttons. Reading through the guideline more thoroughly I note that italicised words should not have italics, so I will add a way to set the text manually. Terasail [✉️] 19:18, 6 October 2022 (UTC) reply
