Beliefs of some groups are debated, as for example the Strigolniki, thus their inclusion as proto-Protestant would be agreed on by some while objected by others. In some other cases such as Girolamo Savonarola, the person has been historically seen as a forerunner of Protestantism, but because his theology was still so close to Catholicism there are people who deny him as a proto-Protestant. -- ValtteriLahti12 ( talk) 06:58, 24 August 2022 (UTC)
