Torres Strait Creole

My source, Pidgins and Creoles (1994), has Torres Strait Creole under "Australia" rather than "Mid-Pacific". Dunno why Queensland Kanaka English is treated differently though. -- Ptcamn 22:07, 17 April 2007 (UTC) reply

Yeah, I struggled with this too. But I thought since it's so close linguistically and geographically to, say Tok Pisin and other Melanesian Creoles, it couldn't hurt to be on this template. – jonsafari 20:06, 18 April 2007 (UTC) reply
