Alphabetical / chronological?

Although the template is a very useful addition, I find the alphabetical order of the aircraft to be counter-intuitive. A chronological/designation sequence might be more appropriate. Or is it possible to provide a mechanism to allow the reader to switch between alphabetical and chronological sequences? -- TraceyR ( talk) 00:07, 14 January 2008 (UTC) reply

Good point, although most readers would not know the correct chronological order and would just use it to find other EE products. In some of the other templates like Piper it would be hard to find entries if they were not alphabetic. Perhaps we should ask at project level. MilborneOne ( talk) 12:13, 14 January 2008 (UTC) reply
Point taken re Piper. I have added two templates to the Short Brothers article, one alphabetical, the other chronological. What do you think? -- TraceyR ( talk) 14:07, 14 January 2008 (UTC) reply
