Minimum measurement
The term "significant" is pretty subjective. This template includes moderate earthquakes of less than 6.0. What is the minimum measurement on the
Richter magnitude scale or
Moment magnitude scale to be considered significant and included on this template? Thanks,

I suppose it depends on the fairly straightforward things like damage, injuries, and loss of life, but unusual things happen around here. The smallest earthquake listed on this template (5.4), the
2008 Chino Hills earthquake, made its way all the way up to
good article status.

Change template color
I think changing the template color to a maroon or red color would help define it.--

This is not a list. It's a navigation template and it only includes items for notable events that have existing articles. Some of thee items that you mentioned are non-events.
