The economist Thomas Sowell is a notable member of the Chicago School of Economics. He not only studied under Milton Friedman, but also had a very close relationship with George Stigler during his early career. He himself attests that he is a member of the Chicago School (see TS' page), and is in general a relatively influential figure in the realm of economics.
