I think that the readability of this template would be improved if the colors used to identify national and conference championships were more easily distinguishable. I have good vision and a high quality monitor, but when I have the brightness turned down to save battery life, I can barely tell the difference between the colors. -- Truthful Cynic 16:48, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
I THINK STATE TITLE IN DARK RED SHOULD BE ADDED! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.98.39.40 ( talk) 14:01, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
See 1905 in List of Colorado Buffaloes football seasons, where CU was an Ind for just the 1905 season. We write that as:
{{CFB Yearly Record Subhead | name =Independent | conf =no | startyear =1905 | endyear =1905 }}
which currently renders as "Independent (1905–1905)"
Could we update such that startyear and endyear being populated with the same value would render as:
"Independent (1905)"
There are similar non-Colorado examples, though the single year issue is uncommon. Understood of there is a presumption that "1905" CFB would be presumed as 1905~1906 and use startyear=1905 and endyear=1906, but that's not how I've seen the pages written. @ Frietjes: I know you've made some tweaks to the code here of late. There's a minor spacing issue now in cases where all the footnotes/legend are hidden. Compare the height of the "Total" row at A. L. Swanson with Ron Roberts (American football). Can you look into this? Thanks, Jweiss11 ( talk) 03:05, 3 May 2017 (UTC)
Greetings and felicitations. I added an "extrafootnotes" field to the table in " Jake Crouthamel" in this edit, but it does display in Terry Donahue. What am I doing wrong? — DocWatson42 ( talk) 03:35, 13 November 2022 (UTC)
