can we come up with a method other than font colouring for indicating who won? it's not very
accessible.

I can't think of another way. It's not important that that information is conveyed to all. But if it can be conveyed to some, why not?--

a parenthetical note or superscript after the year would work. but if the information is not important, we should just remove it, since red and blue links have a special meaning per
Help:Link color.

Italicised years are incomplete. It appears to be standard practice on sports series/season navboxes like this.--
