Suggestion
I am not sure how many drainage divisions there are in Western Australia. However it would probably be better to sort them into sections based on that. -

Looks like there are at least 19 but probably 44. If you click on one of the major basins at that link, another page shows 44 basins in a drop down menu. Could be tricky. Queensland only has 5 basin but at least as many rivers as WA, if not more. -

I was thinking about 4- north-west (Kimberleys +), Indian Ocean, south-west, and southern + any that might flow inland- Victoria has Murray basin, rivers to the coast and rivers flowing inland which seems about right
