Can we put a map in the template, instead of the "Question-mark-picture-frame?" This would distinguish it from image requests, which this template branched off of. OverMyHead 18:34, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
Is it possible to have a switch in this template which would allow not just for "Wikipedians in Upper Slobbovia" but would also be able to indicate what kind or type of map - locational, local/area etc. The idea is that once a location map is put on article the reqmap template is taken off, when close-up maps are really what's needed, or something more than a point-only locational map, as with areas like parks and mountain ranges; type=boundary, type=location, type=regional type=local are the switches I'm thinking of, maybe there's others that might be a good idea too.
