A documentation page (/doc) has been created for this template. Please copy and paste all the code from Template:R from diacritics/sandbox to the live template and the new /doc page will be added to the template page. Note: The categories have been transfered to the /doc page. – Paine Ellsworth ( CLIMAX ) 19:14, 19 June 2011 (UTC)
I guess I didn't see the policy written anywhere but it looks like we have bots that do this now. Is it pretty much a wikipedia policy/guideline to add the following: "Category:Redirects from titles with diacritics" if the redirect page has diacritics and redirects to the main page with no diacritics? And vice versa use "Category:Redirects from titles without diacritics" if the redirect page has no diacritics but the main page it redirects to uses diacritics? I see it used by editors and administrators though I'm not sure why we really need it. Fyunck(click) ( talk) 17:45, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

For the edit request to update the diacritics rcats and categories, please see this talk page. The text has been generalized to cover all possibilities and especially to include minor planet redirects. Paine u/ c 13:19, 20 October 2016 (UTC)

William Omar Landron Rivera redirects to Don Omar What should be used for that redirect? Don't say this should be used. ErceÇamurOfficial ( talk) 14:44, 14 June 2023 (UTC)
