New Zealand: Politics Template‑class

Can this template be amended, so that one can pipe the year? This would be useful if one wants to display something other than just the year, and it would be good to have for two of the elections that spanned across two years (i.e. 1860–61 and 1875–76). And yes, I appreciate that for the latter cases, one could just specify the year instead of the year range. Schwede 66 20:40, 7 October 2011 (UTC) reply
