The TV movies that are not directly related to a TV series (ie, all but Hulk and Spider-Man) that are currently on this list were moved from List of television programs based on Marvel Comics to List of films based on Marvel Comics. Since this happened, it does not seem appropriate for those films to be on this template, as they are not on the article that is linked in the heading anymore. The question is then, where should they go? Should they be moved to Template:Marvel Comics films? - Joltman 12:10, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
Since Spidey Super Stories was not a TV series in and of itself but a recurring skit within another series, as its own article admits, its inclusion on this template with no clarification or anything of the sort is dubious at best. Further add in the fact that it targeted very small children with the not exactly hidden agenda of helping them learn to read, and it is more of a use of the character rather than an adaptation of the comic series. Rather comparable to the character being used in a series of TV commercials for some product than to the subsequent 1977-79 genuine TV series version. Something needs to be done with this, but what exactly? -- Ted Watson ( talk) 20:36, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
Recently Template:Marvel Comics films had a format update, and now includes animated films, and Template:Marvel animation also includes all animated productions based on Marvel Comics. So, I think it's time to revamp this template by including all of the animated shows as well as live-action. -- ProfessorKilroy ( talk) 12:06, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
I reckon Live action/animated, then series/film. It's the same as the film template. Anyway, are any of the TV films related to certain series? -- ProfessorKilroy ( talk) 23:51, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
Should there be a mention of Battle Fever J? It was co-produced by Marvel and partially inspired by Captain America. Perhaps in a related section? Alucardbarnivous ( talk) 02:10, 14 December 2011 (UTC)
