Tours and collaborators
I wonder if Mark Knopfler's solo tours and band tours should be included in his solo template, given that they show an entirely different aspect of his work outside
Dire Straits. His projects with other
musicians have brought out a whole new side to his music and those he has worked with both during Dire Straits, (as with
Eric Clapton,
Bob Dylan and
Nils Lofgren) and later with
John McCusker,
Emmylou Harris,
Sonny Landreth and others really should be addressed. Glance at the template for the
Dixie Chicks. They not only have tours listed, but also they have a section in their template titled, Collaborators. Even if MK's solo tours and performances are not covered, there are other musicians who have influenced Knopfler even after his career took off, and with whom Knopfler has collaborated on atage. I suggest some be included here.--

Oh hell no! The function of a navbox is to navigate and link between the main articles that relate to the subject, not to link to every trivial matter that may be periferally connected. Only an article which substantially refers to Mark Knopfler should be included here. If you want to write individual tour descriptions or perhaps a separate article about his collaborations they would be valid entries.
