At least in Firefox 3, {{ lang-fa}} doesn't work. The displayed text is nonsense...
...and the wikitext is hard to understand unless you use a non-breaking space
Using {{ lang}}, the displayed text is correct...
...but you still need a non-breaking space if you want to edit the wikitext easily

The transclusion {{
Lang-x/doc}} should be removed because this template does nothing of the sort, although it should – especially |links=no

Please replace the contents of this template with the contents of
the sandbox, to which I have added |lit={{{lit|}}}
, which adds an option to include a literal translation. This makes this template consistent with the template’s documentation following
this proposal for the parameter's inclusion. Thank you,

Merged with code from {{ Lang-fa-at}} (which offers a transliteration and literal text field, a superset of the existing template. Action was boldly done after consensus at this TfD. Any issues, please comment here first. Thanks. — Andy W. ( talk · ctb) 15:30, 23 May 2016 (UTC)
I was just wondering that why, on earth, is the Arabic script bold within this template?...
If
Wikipedia's manual of style for foreign terms suggests that text in non-Latin scripts (such as Greek, Cyrillic or Chinese) should neither be italicized as non-English nor bolded, then what is this template based on?
