if this template includes LIRR's C3's then why not MNRR's Shoreliner I/II/III/IV and Comet V ??? 91.111.68.205 ( talk) 15:05, 4 March 2010 (UTC) reply

It's included now, along with the Rail Diesel Cars and the ACMUs.-- AEMoreira042281 ( talk) 15:19, 4 March 2011 (UTC) reply

Template replacement suggustion

I noticed that this template is starting to get too big (wide), so I was wondering if this template could be replaced with the following template that I have created: Template:LIRR and MNCR rolling stock? SportsFan007 ( talk) 03:34, 17 December 2017 (UTC)SportsFan007 reply

I agree that the timeline setup of this is less than ideal. It's a formatting that's meant to be used to show the range of production years, not service years, as is done for auto manufacturer templates. But frankph, it's terrible there, too. I do think the new template is better, but would rather have just overhauled this than create redundant templates. Also, I removed the see also links, as they're too weakly related to be appropriate for a navbox. Especially the Amtrak one, which includes cars that can't run in the city at all. oknazevad ( talk) 04:52, 19 December 2017 (UTC) reply

Comet II

Cam some please add the Comet II to this template? They are in service on Metro-North. SportsFan007 ( talk) 09:31, 4 September 2019 (UTC) reply
