Larger template version vs. smaller template version

I'd like to explain the changes and reverts I've been making to the template, and I'll go through point by point

  • Italics in titles: Part of Wikipedia's manual of style.
  • Non-breaking spaces: helps link titles from being split in two on smaller resolution screens.
  • Removing Anime and Manga links: Both links are directs to sections in the main article. Just as easily reached by clicking the main article link
  • Removing plot: As far as I know, linking to an article on plot is unusual in media templates. Readers would most likely expect to find information on the series plot in the main article.
  • Consolidating sections: Some of the sections only had 2-3 links, and could easily be accomidated in broader sections such as "General" or "Weapons and Items". All the information is preserved, and the navbox is nearly half the size.

I hope that explains my changes to the template satisfactorily. ― El Cid 04:00, 1 March 2007 (UTC) reply
