There really needs to be some kind of tag for storage mediums which are deprecated and no longer in us. E.g. status = obsolete
"
Weight" is a force and is measured in
newtons. The property that is measured in (kilo)grams is called "
mass". I think, Wikipedia, as an encyclopedia, must use correct names of physical quantities even if many people confuse them in colloquial language. —

Should read and write be split?
On some pages like:
SD card, read and write are used to represent the read and write speeds of the medium. On others, like
DVD, it's used for both a short description of how it operates (like the name "Read mechanism" suggests) in addition to the read and write speeds. Additionally, this template is really really poorly documented and I might want to try taking a stab at fixing that.
