New template

As explained in the template documentation, this template was created as the result of a discussion at AfD, and a subsequent discussion at the closing admin's talk page. [1] All articles using {{ Infobox Australian Hut}}, {{ Infobox mountain hut}} and {{ Infobox Schutzhütte}} have been converted to use this template. {{Infobox Australian Hut}} and {{Infobox mountain hut}} have been redirected here. {{Infobox Schutzhütte}} has been converted for partial compatibility but, due to Infobox hut's more general nature, not all parameters are compatible and some work need to be done manually in articles. As of 18 May 2012, no articles use {{tld|Infobox Schutzhütte}, so there seems no need to fix the template to make it fully compatible. -- AussieLegend ( talk) 07:23, 18 May 2012 (UTC) reply

Anything I need to consider before updating this template to get part of its data from Wikidata?

In the last couple of weeks, I copied information about bunks, mattresses, winter rooms and shakedowns from both the German Wikipedia (963 huts w/ template "Infobox Schutzhütte") and the English Wikipedia (58 huts w/ template "Infobox hut") to Wikidata (see d:Q2299354 for example). Now that this is done, I'd like to harmonize all infoboxes across all languages containing this data (de, en, fr, it, ... see translations of Template:Infobox_Schutzhütte) to get data from Wikidata in case no local value is provided, and later (semi-)manually delete the local data if it is identical with Wikidata. Is there anything I should consider before implementing this change here? -- Tkarcher ( talk) 14:51, 28 September 2017 (UTC) reply

Mapframe maps?

{{ Infobox building}} and {{ Infobox shopping mall}} have both recently been updated to automatically show dynamic mapframe maps by default. I am proposing to similarly show such maps by default for this template, with the same optional parameters to adjust the size, frame center point, initial zoom level, and marker icon; and to similarly allow the mapframe map to be turned off using |mapframe=no. See Template:Infobox building#Mapframe maps and Template talk:Infobox building#Change to the map parameter so Kartographer works for further information. (FYI: I'm making similar proposal for other buildings infobox templates) - Evad37 [ talk 15:36, 31 August 2018 (UTC) reply
