No consensus to move. Vegaswikian ( talk) 19:52, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
Template:Friedrich Schiller → Template:Works by Schiller – Less ambiguous. A template "Schiller" comprising issues like people, places, and institutions around Schiller can easily become of interest. Like done by Sardanaphalus with the Gogol works template here. -- Hans Dunkelberg ( talk) 18:27, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
I have expected that. I did not mean there were much more articles on such works altogether, but that it seemed like that, and hoped You would understand that I tried to hint to the fact by that that in the templates on composers You have linked above, there are less single musical works than there are single poetical works, in the template on Schiller.
One could make a template with people around Schiller and include it only into the Friedrich Schiller article: it could easily cause considerable confusion if one was pointed to, let`s say, Alexander von Humboldt by a template Friedrich Schiller, in the article Die Kraniche des Ibykus. It would appear more useful, to me, to call such a template on people around Schiller Template: Friedrich Schiller, and the other Template: Works by Friedrich Schiller, than calling the people-around-Schiller template Template: People around Friedrich Schiller, and the template on the works Template: Friedrich Schiller. This latter name is just the name of a person and, thus, strongly evokes thoughts about persons. Therefore, I have requested the move. So far, I have not prepared such a people-around-Schiller template, so maybe I cannot yet impress anybody very much and will have to request the move, again, when that changes. -- Hans Dunkelberg ( talk) 18:06, 19 April 2011 (UTC)
