To match the vast majority of other ethnic group navigation templates. On series of articles which tend to have other infoboxes and/or images, footer bars should be preferred to sidebars as sidebars cause issues with layout of that more relevant content. I think it would be better to change the title of the sidebar since it's not actually talking about ethnicity, but nationality or national heritage (Australian, Canadian, French, etc aren't ethnicities). -- Kdm852 ( talk) 03:12, 21 April 2021 (UTC) reply
