Polite request for cessation of hostilities

Please can I politely request that the continual edit-warring over Capello's start date now ceases. The problem appears to be caused by the unusual event of his being appointed in a different year to his starting work. Correct me if I'm wrong here, but it appears that all are agreed that he was appointed in 2007 and is due to start work in 2008, however you can't agree on whether date of appointment or date of starting work should be used. I can't think of a precedent for this off-hand so I think you should discuss it at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Football#Fabio_Capello. Thanks. -- Jameboy ( talk) 01:08, 16 December 2007 (UTC) reply

Link?

You know how "England nation football team" links to the article? What does everyone think of getting "Managers" to link to England national football team managers? Good idea, bad idea? faithless (speak) 10:11, 29 February 2008 (UTC) reply

Good idea, as there's already a parameter for this. I've added the link accordingly. -- Jameboy ( talk) 12:46, 29 February 2008 (UTC) reply
