As seen on my talk page, I removed gubernatorial races from this template, as they belong in their own existing template and clutter this one, but the template creator is quite unwilling to engage in productive discussion.-- Muboshgu ( talk) 22:52, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
Forget it, Muboshgu. This was one of my working tools. I will create another one. No reverts, I will replace everything again and again. Keep off my back, I'm not a teenager blogger with speculative articles on future events. I do historical research. And I need a nav box for it. Kraxler ( talk) 20:40, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
Do we really need to include the winners of every New York Senate election in the template? I don't think so, since it sort of spoils the fun of reading the actual articles for those interested to see who won, and it gets very monotonous anyway... 69.121.17.200 ( talk) 22:54, 2 July 2013 (UTC)
If we are going to have one giant template with e.g. Template:NY2006elections redirecting to it, can we at least remove those redirected templates from the articles so the giant template doesn't have to be loaded twice (e.g. once when Template:New York U.S. Senate elections is called and then again when Template:NY2006elections is called? The upcoming 2018 US Senate election is missing, even though all other upcoming 2018 elections are listed. Below the line
* 2012
add
* 2018

Just making another request. Unfortunately, the edit above was malformed. The 2018 election is now listed after the 2016 election (a class 3 election). However, 2018 is a class-1 election and should be listed after the 2012 election instead. The text
* 2018
should be moved to below the line
* 2012
