- It's not really meant to be a true succession box. As it says in the {{
succession box}} doc, "Mostly deprecated, the succession box template ought to be used only for the simplest succession lines. These are single succession lines showing nothing more than a succession of three people holding exactly the same title." It's not exactly appropriate for this circumstance and so I think it's better to have it be the navbox standard because that is what it really is.
