I'm not sure if Caldicot, Chepstow and the like can be described as "valleys stations". I suggest a reorganisation to reflect Network Rail's definition of the different routes - South Wales Valleys (Route 13), South & Central Wales and Borders (14) and Great Western (15). The latest version of the official map has assigned a dark blue to Ebbw Vale. The other colours have been tweaked, some are duplicated because they appear that way on the map itself. 81.110.104.91 ( talk) 17:27, 10 October 2009 (UTC)

I am probably going to completely contradict myself but looking at the Wales RUS (2008), only the Maesteg Line is included. Which source to trust? Simply south.... .. walking into bells for just 6 years 14:45, 13 December 2012 (UTC)
Cardiff & Valleys Local Routes is entirely separate to both the Maesteg Line and Ebbw Valley Line. ATW produce timetables that show them as clearly separate. Owain ( talk) 16:55, 13 December 2012 (UTC)
The latest Network Rail Route Specification (2011, Wales) lists Newport—Ebbw Vale (L.17), South Wales Valleys (L.18) and Bridgend—Maesteg (L.19) as separate routes. Owain ( talk) 08:46, 25 December 2012 (UTC)
