Appropriately enough, the code name for these operations was 'Fire Eater'. Operation “Gradient”, a troop raid on the Northern Adriatic islands of Lussin and Cherso, was the next to be planned. After many changes in the target, 5 troop carried out the operation successfully on 9th Aug.
