Guru Lineage

This has to reflect that this is not the actual lineage - that followers feel this is it - actually Gunatitanand Swami was never a BAPS guru - it came into being after him. Therefore i added the world "Perceived" - if ppl sont like the word, tht can b changed, but it has to reflect the above for it to be NPOV. Yes, but just because he wasn't a "BAPS" guru, he still is one of our gurus. WHat if he did accept his followers as shishya? Adding percieved makes it sound like POV towards the Swaminarayan Sampraday. I just feel that another word should be used. Percieved sounds POVish as well. As I mentioned, a guru shishya relation is such that both have to accept each other - shishya has to accept guru as guru and vice versa. It has to be clear that Gunatitanand Swami was never part of BAPS so he cant be part of something like "Guru Lineage" as that would be BAPS POV. It has to b made clear that though he was never part of BAPS, they still feel he is their guru - thats y the "Perceived" - if u have a prob with this word, you could substitute it with something else, which indicates the above. I kind of feel that using percieved is POV, because the Swaminarayan Sampraday. Using Akshar Purshottam Philosophy in this case would be much better, because t truly is a philosophy. World ( talkcontributions) 18:04, 25 March 2009 (UTC) reply
