I removed the character list from this template. All the character pages redirect to the main article now, so I don't see any point in having the character list in this template any longer...

Grapesoda22: Navigational template's should only include full articles. Redirects, sections and redlinks shouldn't be there. It being "Valid information. No reason to remove." is sems like POV on your part.

Look, in most cases redirects and section links should be avoided. But in cretin cases it can be justified. The fact that the title of the show changed repeatedly is a major aspect of the shows history and shouldn't be glossed over in a Navbox devoted to the show.
