The urls for Billboard chart appear to have changed, for example the old Billboard 200 url takes you to the Hot 100. The new url for Billboard 200 ends in TLP. Out of 30, nine of them needed to be moved to Billboard Canada (i.e. The Chronicles of Life and Death). I'll check the other ones that came during RPM's publication, but I ran into a problem. I've found three albums where they came after 2000 and don't exist on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart. They are Cardiology (album), Eye to the Telescope and Stronger with Each Tear. They should exist in a link like this, but don't. I also found Hard II Love has two Canada charts with the #20 position correct, but not sure where the #16 is from. The Oricon site apparently no longer has its albums charts archived by date prior to the 2nd week of July 2015, so using the template generates a bad URL that just redirects to the main site. However, their website does have dedicated pages for individual releases with any applicable charting information. As a result, this template should be updated for Oricon to accommodate charting entries prior to July 2015 - we can add "artistid" and "id" parameters for the URL of the album, and "artist" and "album" name parameters for the link text. Additionally, since music DVDs and Blu-rays are among the releases with charting information available on their individual pages on the Oricon site, we can update this template to allow for DVD charting entries to be generated for Japan ( here is one example). Can someone make the necessary updates? Y2Kcrazyjoker4 ( talk • contributions) 13:57, 8 July 2020 (UTC)

I would like to add links to the individual wiki entries of specified UK charts. I have now added the edits to the sandbox of this template already. Can these change be implemented into the main template? Jordan8396.ja ( talk) 14:31, 26 July 2019 (UTC)
Hello. If an album has currently only charted on one album chart, do i incorporate it into a table or make it a album ref like how the certifications are done? Thanks! -- MrLinkinPark333 ( talk) 19:08, 7 August 2019 (UTC)

Hi there. The new zealand chart link has changed from charts.org.nz to charts.nz. This effects 5000+ links (songs+albums). -- MrLinkinPark333 ( talk) 19:26, 7 August 2019 (UTC)
The urls for Billboard chart appear to have changed, for example the old Billboard 200 url takes you to the Hot 100. The new url for Billboard 200 ends in TLP. The changes seem to affect all the urls, the chart names have all been given three-letter identifiers. Hzh ( talk) 00:06, 17 October 2019 (UTC)
Is it appropriate to use iTunes charts? I found this site. Cognissonance ( talk) 04:53, 2 November 2019 (UTC)
I am finding that the URLs that this template currently generates are either leading to search results for an artist (rather than specific pages for the artist) or are redirecting to a landing page for the various UK charts. I don't know the specifics of the OCC website, but I know that this template needs to be updated to accommodate the new URL structure of the website. artistid

09:52, 1 December 2019 (UTC)Hello. I was wondering if a category for album chart usages could be made like how the single chart usages is done. Therefore, it could be determined how much cleanup is needed (i.e. with the UK chartarchive/chartstats and Germany Musicline websites). Thanks! -- MrLinkinPark333 ( talk) 03:11, 13 October 2019 (UTC)
Hello. Bases on Category:Album_chart_usages there is a bit of cleanup with some templates:
I was wondering if anyone wanted to help with the cleanup. Thanks! -- MrLinkinPark333 ( talk) 04:32, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
Hello. I was wondering if the Billboard URLs can be updated for Albumchart as they have been for Singlechart. Primiarilly, I'm looking for the Billboard 200 to be updated as per this link, but the rest should be as well. Thanks! -- MrLinkinPark333 ( talk) 02:59, 12 December 2019 (UTC)
Hello. I've been going through the cleanup of ones that are tagged "Canada requires value for chartid=". Should I delete the ones that aren't verified? Thanks! -- MrLinkinPark333 ( talk) 19:18, 2 January 2020 (UTC)
Seems like website for Croatia has been deleted. some stuff is still findable through web archive, tho. Thought i'd let you know

Hello. I think this chart is now available in the main Billboard website as the Billboard.biz ones don't work. For example: this link would be equivalent to this one. This chart is also at the artist chart here, and bypasses the locked weekly charts. I think this is the same chart, but not 100% sure as the template says Music Videos, while billboard says Music Video Sales. -- MrLinkinPark333 ( talk) 23:12, 3 January 2020 (UTC)

Looking to have the Billboard charts updated since they changed their URL format again. Was requested above by MrLinkinPark333 but nothing came of it so... submitting a new request. The suffix to all the URLs need to changed from the chart name (i.e. billboard-200) to the three-letter code Billboard has assigned it (i.e. TLP). I will list the ones I am aware of below:

Hello. I was wondering if Slovakia albums could be added as Czech albums are being used from the same website in this template. The charts go from 201643 onwards, and there's no archived versions before that. Thanks! -- MrLinkinPark333 ( talk) 22:02, 3 January 2020 (UTC)

Hello!
Would it be possible to make an additional Oricon template for albums, the same way Oricon2 is made for singles (to me it looks like the link is by the same principle as for singles).
Thank you!

Hello. I was wondering why Australian-charts is on the Websites to avoid section on Record Charts. The section says the charts from the Kent Music Report are missing, but I don't see why not to use the ARIA charts (26 June 1988) onwards. -- MrLinkinPark333 ( talk) 23:39, 6 April 2020 (UTC)

UK Charts, multiple year entry does not work. You need to enter artist and album name to remover red characters. UK2 id was doing so much problem. UK id does not show any red characters but the url is wrong. Jit.cuet ( talk) 18:04, 23 May 2020 (UTC)
Hello. There should be a |year parameter for the Germany albums that charted before 1977 like at 20/20 (Beach Boys album) which is already done at Template:Single Chart. Thanks! -- MrLinkinPark333 ( talk) 22:35, 1 June 2020 (UTC)
Hello. For the Australian DVD Certs, 2017 and 2019 says Audiovisual instead of DVDs in comparison to previous years. Thefore, the title of these two links needs to be changed from DVDs to Audiovisual. The URLs are fine. Thanks! -- MrLinkinPark333 ( talk) 20:42, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
The template is currently generating dead URLs for the "SwedenMV" chart.
Can someone correct this? Y2Kcrazyjoker4 ( talk • contributions) 19:08, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
Thought you should know that New Zealand needs to be updated for the publisher name. It's charts.org.nz not charts.nz. Thanks! -- MrLinkinPark333 ( talk) 01:10, 13 May 2020 (UTC)
Hello. I was wondering why IFPI is being used for Finland albums instead of Finnish Charts by Hung Medien. I realize it's the same data, but I am curious as the template uses a lot of other Hung Medien sites. Thanks! -- MrLinkinPark333 ( talk) 23:31, 4 July 2020 (UTC)
The template is currently generating dead URLs for the "ItalyMV" chart.
The new format would require the "id" parameter to be replaced with a "year" and "week" parameter. Could someone make this update? Y2Kcrazyjoker4 ( talk • contributions) 23:19, 11 July 2020 (UTC)

Hello. Could a tracking category be made/merged with albums that have ""Canada requires value for chartid=" like at Cardiology (album)? Maybe something like Albumchart used with missing parameters like Single chart has Singlechart used with missing parameters? Thanks! -- MrLinkinPark333 ( talk) 01:10, 19 September 2020 (UTC)
I have noticed that Billboard seems to be cleaning out bands that haven't charted in quite some time. As a result, when you try to look at their chart history, all you get is Billboard's link not available message. Here are some examples, [1] [2]. To prove that those bands did chart, [3] [4] What if the editor could either manually type in an archive url or type in an archive date automatically generate an archive-url for the ciation. I would like to know if someone could to create a new template with the best positions of singles and albums at Spanish charts, please? The charts in Hung Medien (spanishcharts.com) are not updated since March. Thanks in advance. LuanCampSouza93 ( talk) 19:52, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
Hello! would it be possible to create a template as Template:Single chart Oricon2, but for albums?(url making rules are identical) As fairly recently (in the last 2-3 years?) oricon announced that they will upkeep weekly charts only for the last (rolling) 5 years (e.g., pre-2016 charts are already unavilable). But for albums/singles which have product pages on oricon (many import albums/singles tend to not have those, but many do) have peaks on their product pages. Thank you! Anyone interested in the IFPI Taiwan charts? They were short-lived, running from 1996 to 1999, but they are fully archived. 1996 1997 1998 1999. I just encountered them while creating Recording Industry Foundation in Taiwan (RIT) -- Muhandes ( talk) 15:12, 8 March 2021 (UTC)

The content of French Hung Medien is pratically all in French language. So I think it would be interesting to specify this, as the Dutchcharts.nl is in Dutch, the austriancharts.at is in German, etc. Example: austriancharts.at - (artist) - (title) (in German).
