Semi-protected

This template is semi-protected due to the repeated insertion of unverified content from anon IPs, who falsely assume that the Carolina Panthers were eliminated from playoff contention in Week 13. They, however, forgot that Seattle and Carolina are NOT the only clubs that could finish tied at 7-9. If a COMBINATION of some or all of these teams -- CAR, TB, NO, DAL, WAS, PHI, DET, MIN, AZ -- somehow all finish at 7-9, the Panthers could still get in via a multi-team tiebreaker.

Regardless, content regarding playoff scenarios should match previously published reliable sources such as CBS Sports or the official postings on nflcommunications.com Thanks. Zzyzx11 ( talk) 04:45, 5 December 2012 (UTC) reply
