In relation to your evidence submissions at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Article titles and capitalisation/Evidence#Example section, please be aware that the Arbitration Committee does not take evidence on subpages into account. Please remove the link to all such subpages from the Evidence page, and transfer what material you want to submit for consideration to your own section (within the confines of the word limit). Thank you,

Purpose

The purpose of this template is for clerks or arbitrators to notify editors who have submitted links in an open arbitration case to "evidence subpages" that such a submission is not admissible. The template should not be used, and any notification of the kind that it helps to simplify should not be made, in most cases by anyone except an arbitrator or clerk.

Use

The template should be used by adding a 'new section' to the notified editor's talk page, with something like Evidence in Example casename as the section header, and the following text in the message body:

{{subst:Subpage evidence|Example casename|Evidence section title}} ~~~~

Alternatively, add the following text to the bottom of the user's talk page:

== Evidence in ''Example casename'' ==
{{subst:Subpage evidence|Example casename|Section title}} ~~~~

In either instance, the text 'Example casename' must be replaced with the name of the case. For instance, if notifying an editor about the Article titles and capitalisation case, you would replace "Article titles and capitalisation" (without the quote marks) in the template (and in the section header, if using the second method of delivery).

Manual delivery

The main purpose of this template is to provide a detailed, neutral message to notify an editor that subpage submissions are not acceptable. If you would prefer to use the text of the template without using the template itself, the following is what the template displays, and you can copy this, and manually deliver the message:

In relation to your evidence submissions at [[Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/CASENAME/Evidence#SECTIONNAME]], please be aware that the Arbitration Committee [[WP:AC/P#Submission of evidence|does not take evidence on subpages into account]]. Please remove the link to all such subpages from the Evidence page, and transfer what material you want to submit for consideration to your own section (within the confines of the word limit). Thank you,
