Usage

#REDIRECT [[(target article title)]]

{{Rcat shell|
{{R from alternative translation}}
{{R unprintworthy}}
}}
Template {{ Rcat shell}} is an alias for the Redirect category shell template, which may be used to add as many appropriate rcats as needed, usually from one to seven, along with their parameters, to a redirect. For more information see the documentation on its template page. This rcat may also tag a redirect individually:
#REDIRECT [[(target article title)]]

{{R from alternative translation}}
This is in accord with instructions found at Wikipedia:REDCAT.
  • Use this rcat to tag any mainspace redirect that is a less common translation of the target or an associated spelling. If this rcat is used for a spelling that is associated with the target, and yet is not the target itself, then the unnamed parameter may be used as follows:
{{Rcat shell|
{{R from alternative translation|(associated spelling)}}
{{R unprintworthy}}
}}
or if applied individually:
{{R from alternative translation|(associated spelling)}}
That will alter the wording to, "The prevalent spelling is (associated spelling)."
{{Rcat shell|
{{R from alternative translation|printworthy=yes}}
{{R printworthy}}
}}
